The Great Pyramid of Khufu is a tower of power and eminence erected to reach the skies. It was completed around 2580 BC, making it one of the world’s oldest and greatest structures. It was constructed in 20 years using 2,300,000 pieces of limestone and rises at a height of 147 meters (481 feet), making it the world’s tallest structure for 3800 years and the first of its sort to kick off Egypt’s golden era of construction.

The Great Sphinx of Giza
The great sphinx is a timeless wonder from the heavens sent to guard this divine country, the oldest statue in history with a height of 73 meters (240 feet), a width of 19 meters (66 feet), and the shape of a mythical creature known as the sphinx with the body of a lion and the head of a man, most likely king Khafre, as a symbol of might and wisdom.

Lunch will be provided in a restaurant with a view of the Pyramids and the Nile, followed by a tour to:

Memphis City
Memphis was founded by King Menes to be Egypt’s official capital, and it was the home of the god Ptah, the patron of creation and art. It houses artifacts dating back over 4000 years from some of ancient Egypt’s most famous figures, including Ramsess II, as well as great temples dedicated to deities such as Aton and Hathor.

Step Pyramid of Saqqara
When the legendary Imhotep, the vizier of Pharaoh Djoser, built the Saqqara Step Pyramid, it ushered in the golden age of pyramid construction in ancient Egypt. It is made up of six steps and stands at a height of 62 meters, and it is surrounded by a complex that was the first of its kind, containing great decorations and majestic ceremonial structures.

After that, you will check into a 5* hotel and spend the night there.

Day 2: Sightseeing in Old Cairo

After breakfast at the hotel, you will continue your 3-day journey from Luxor to Cairo by heading to the center of “the city of minarets,” Cairo, with your tour guide, to experience all of the splendor unfold by visiting some of the top Cairo tourist sites, such as:

The Egyptian Museum

Over 120,000 rare artifacts made from extravagant materials like gold and precious gems to ordinary ones like wood or stone that come in the shapes of statues, jewelry, funerary objects to King Tutankhamun and others are housed within the museum’s two floors, as well as a number of displayed mummies.

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Cairo, and you will finish the day by visiting:

The Hanging Church
The holy Church of the Virgin Mary, also known as The Hanging Church, was built on the southern wall of a Roman fortification named Babylon in the 5th century AD. The church functioned as the Coptic patriarch’s headquarters; it is 30 feet above the ground and looks out over the whole city; also, the building and interior of the hanging church are absolutely remarkable, with components ranging from the 7th to the 13th centuries.

Mosque of Amr Ibn Al Aas
The Amr Ibn Al-Aas Mosque was the first mosque established in Africa in 641 AD, and it has been restored several times since then, serving as an active place of worship and one of Egypt’s most significant historical landmarks. The mosque has been restored many times, making it a live example of Islamic architectural evolution throughout the years.

Synagogue of Ben Ezra
The Ben Ezra Synagogue is a one-of-a-kind attraction in Egypt, going back to the 19th century when it was converted into a church and then into a synagogue in 882 AD, when it is said to have housed a copy of the Old Testament. Until the 1950s, this location served as the Jewish community’s capital for many years.

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization
The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) is a cutting-edge institution that brilliantly shows Egypt’s historical and cultural treasures. It is the first museum in the Arab world and North Africa dedicated to the ancient Egyptian Civilization’s numerous and rich historical periods, which span over 4000 years.

Bazaar of Khan El Khalili
The Khan El Khalili Bazaar, often known as the Middle East’s golden brick road, is the busiest route in the region, where dreams come true. The street, which goes back to 970 AD, is still quite busy and has everything a traveler could want; it has all the magnificent cafés and businesses that stretch back to endless eras, all of which have amazing Islamic architecture and décor.
