Day 1: Take a plane from Luxor to Cairo.

We will pick you up from your Luxor hotel or Nile cruise and transport you to Luxor airport to catch your flight to Cairo, where our representative will meet you and take you to meet your tour guide to begin your two-day Cairo and Abu Simbel trip from Luxor by exploring:

Giza Pyramids Complex

The Giza pyramids complex, which goes back over 4000 years and comprises three major pyramids, six smaller pyramids, the solitary Guardian the huge sphinx, and the valley temple, is where the most stunning vivid picture of ancient Egypt can be found.

The Great Pyramid of Giza

The Great Pyramid is one of the world’s oldest and largest structures, reaching for the heavens since its construction in 2580 BC, making it more than 4500 years old. It was built in 20 years using 2,300,000 limestone blocks and stands at a height of 147 meters (481 feet), making it the world’s tallest building for 3800 years until the 18th century.

The Great Sphinx of Giza

The great sphinx is a mysterious guardian figure from above who appeared during Egypt’s old kingdom (2686-2181 BC), the oldest statue in history with a height of 73 meters (240 feet) and a width of 19 meters (66 feet) in the shape of a mythical creature called the sphinx with the body of a lion and the head of King Khafre to showcase his power and wisdom.

The Valley Temple

The Valley Temple is one of the best-preserved archeological sites in ancient Egypt, composed completely of limestone and granite and featuring diorite sculptures of Chephren. It dates back to the Old Kingdom and is one of the best-preserved archeological sites in Egypt.

Lunch will be provided in a restaurant with a view of the Pyramids and the Nile, followed by a tour to:

The Egyptian Museum

The Egyptian Museum houses over 120,000 rare ancient Egyptian artifacts dating back over 4000 years from various time periods, ranging from lavishly rich materials such as gold and precious gems in the form of jewelry and small figures to ordinary materials such as wood or stone in the form of statues and funerary objects. The most popular treasures are those of King Tutankhamun and Ramses II, but the museum also has several mummies on exhibit.

Then it’s off to Cairo airport, where you’ll travel to Aswan and settle into your 5* hotel for the night.

Day two: Visit Abu Simbel’s Two Temples.

Take your breakfast boxes and check out of the hotel on your second day, then continue your 2-day travel from Cairo to Abu Simbel through Luxor by visiting:

Temples of Abu Simbel

The two enormous temples of Abu Simbel were a heavenly gift to Ramses the Great (1279-1213 BCE), who built them to be the only guardian of the southern boundary under the name “Temple of Ramesses, cherished by Amun.” The main temple is dedicated to Ramses II, and the second temple is dedicated to his beloved wife Queen Nefertari. The sun festival takes place on February 22nd and October 22nd each year, and the sun shines on the faces of the four seated statues of Ramses II, Ptah (God of Creation), Amun (The Creator God), and Ra (Sun God). The temple’s rescue mission was recognized as the most difficult archeological rescue operation in history, and it was directed by UNESCO in the mid-1960s.

Then you’ll return to Aswan for lunch before boarding the train to Luxor, bringing your two-day Cairo and Abu Simbel trip to a close. Note: You are welcome to express your ideas on whether or not any trips should be included or removed from your tour schedule in order to satisfy your requirements and meet your demands.
