The Valley of Kings
The Valley of the Rulers is a doorway to heaven utilized by Egypt’s new kings and queens (1570-1070 BC). Temple of Hatshepsut

Memnon’s Colossi
The Colossi of Memnon are two huge slabs of quartzite sandstone, 18 meters (60 feet) tall and weighing 720 tonnes each, that resemble Pharaoh Amenhotep III (1386-1350) and have journeyed a long distance from Cairo to Luxor to become the guards of this ancient city. The colossi were demolished by an earthquake in 27 BC and rebuilt in 199 AD, becoming renowned throughout the Greco-Roman era because of the Vocal Memnon phenomena.

Temple of Karnak
